Do you want to get into public speaking?
I did, too.
Within the last couple of years, I’ve developed a passion for teaching and public speaking. However, that’s somewhat crazy, because I struggle with crippling anxiety.
It’s a rewarding journey. I went from terrified of getting on a stage, to not getting enough of it.
But, don’t mistake me; I still have a long way to go.
In fact, I don’t consider myself to be a great public speaker. Every conference I’ve spoken at surrounded me with fantastic, compelling speakers. I’m still working to reach their level.
But what I have done is get in the door.
Get your foot in the door!
Getting into public speaking is hard.
Submitting to tech conferences requires several things:
- writing a compelling proposal
- rejection more often than not
- preparing engaging and valuable content
Luckily, I’ve had the opportunity to learn these things and get on stage.
I’ve been talking with one of my friends, Justin. He’s encouraged me to help
others you overcome the fear of getting started with public speaking.
Do you want to get on stage, but need some help?
I want to help you! I’ll share with you what I’ve learned along the way.
